hirteen towns. One stubborn piece of ground. Glaciers left Tolland County with thin soil over hard till, ridged high enough that storms crossing the state still have wind to spend once they reach it. An ash in Somers and a pine in Hebron fight the same battle on different hilltops—which is why forty years here beats forty miles of shoreline, where conditions shift at every exit. Weather ignores the map on the wall; whatever’s dropping limbs in Vernon and is in Coventry by dinner, so coverage matters less than who actually rolls up the driveway.

A Connecticut state certified arborist doesn’t guess. Tested in biology, disease, and structural defect, he reads the county’s repeated tree issues: dying ash, snow-loaded laterals, root plates skating on shallow dirt. Lots change the task at hand. Room to fall means a tree goes in one piece; a septic field and well cap mean rigging, sections, patience.

Elliott Tree Service walks every site before pricing, scans for what else moved in the storm, and puts the plan on paper before a saw starts. Removal, pruning, or hands off. Family owned, fully insured, 24/7 across the county.
